In 2016, we launched our first Marlin Bar in Coconut Point, Florida, as a laid-back space where locals and travelers could gather casually over food and drinks. Two years later, a second oasis opened in Palm Springs, California, a hub of mid-century modernism. As our guests request more, we plan to expand several locations across the United States and beyond. The Marlin Bar is the perfect spot to shop, enjoy frozen cocktails, and light fare with friends and family, where friendly service and a casual vibe are always the catch of the day.

The Marlin Bar is a relaxed refuge where guests can unwind with a cocktail, light fare, and enjoy some retail therapy.

Role: Dishwasher

Your responsibilities include maintaining a clean and positive environment to deliver an outstanding culinary and retail experience, adhering to policies, procedures, and standards.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
  • Create a relaxed destination by actively participating in a team environment, demonstrating genuine hospitality and teamwork to promote success.
  • Foster cleanliness by sanitizing tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized, operating the dish machine properly, including setup, breakdown, washing procedures, and chemical usage.
  • Support your crew by ensuring safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
  • At least 1+ years of high-volume culinary or hospitality experience.
  • Current food handler’s card and any other certifications required by law.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, including storage, rotation, cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking of kitchenware and equipment, as well as general housekeeping duties.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to perform other duties necessary to support the business.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Routine standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Operate equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, wine keys, and other tools listed in the training manual.
  • Shifts scheduled based on business needs.
