Create a relaxed destination by promoting a learning and training environment for all kitchen members through facilitation of company training programs and hands-on approaches, focusing on proper cooking techniques, knife skills, and time management to ensure culinary, sales, and service success.
Set the course by being responsible for kitchen operations and menu development, including creating daily, weekly, and monthly specials.
Build the perfect oasis by managing individual restaurant expenses to ensure budgetary compliance. Effectively communicate and justify monthly financial information, including food costs, labor expenses, and supply purchases based on projected sales and business needs.
Support your crew by ensuring the transfer of learned skills on-the-job through facilitating the implementation of company training programs, monitoring team performance, and enforcing safety and sanitation programs according to applicable laws.
Proactively manage in paradise by co-managing team meetings with the Front of the House and overseeing kitchen expenses to ensure budget adherence as needed.
3+ years of high-volume culinary/hospitality experience.
1+ years of high-volume kitchen leadership experience.
Current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by law.
Strong knowledge of food and restaurant service skills, including all phases of food production, storage, rotation, preparation, presentation, and time standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
Comfortable using computers, including Windows, Microsoft Office, POS systems, and Outlook.
Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or similar preferred.
Willingness to perform other duties necessary to support the business.
