LIVE THE ISLAND LIFE

In 2016, we launched our first Marlin Bar in Coconut Point, Florida, as a laid-back space where locals and travelers could gather casually over food and drinks. Two years later, a second oasis opened its doors in Palm Springs, California, a hub of mid-century modernism. As our guests are asking for more, we plan to add several locations throughout the United States over the next few years (and beyond). The Marlin Bar is the perfect spot to shop, enjoy frozen cocktails, and light fare with friends and family, where friendly service and a casual vibe are always the catch of the day.

The Marlin Bar is a relaxed refuge where guests can unwind with a cocktail, light fare, and enjoy some retail therapy.

As a Bartender, you will:
  • Create a relaxed destination - Greet all guests with a friendly smile and offer personalized assistance with their food and beverage experience, responding to questions about retail as well.
  • Set the course - Have complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation. Complete all retail product knowledge courses. Participate actively in location-related meetings and training sessions, applying learned skills on the job.
  • Build the perfect oasis - Practice proper cash handling and operate the point-of-sale system and tips. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all team members and guests. Keep stock levels proper, including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits, based on projected business. Properly care for and store all products. Verify guest IDs when serving alcohol, as required by law.
  • Adhere to company and location policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the business.
