Job summary

Citi in London offers a 10-week Summer Analyst program starting in June, with a one-week training kick-off and three rotations across Sales, Trading, Structuring, Quantitative Analysis, or Securitisation and Financing. You’ll learn fundamentals of the analyst role, Citi's culture, and participate in a competitive program that aims to place strong performers into full-time roles.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a university and expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level.
• You are in your penultimate year of university.
• You have a good understanding of finance and an interest in Markets.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Your knowledge of programming languages (VBA, Python) is highly desirable.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and excellent planning/organizational skills.
• You are intellectually curious and proactively seek new and creative ideas.
• You are a self-starter who thrives independently and in a team, with mobility and flexibility.
• You have an unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers on projects and in pitching trade ideas.
• Collect and analyze macro market and industry information to assist your team.
• Build and utilize your network by shadowing across desks and asset classes on the trading floor.
• Assist with preparing internal documentation and presentations for the team.
• Participate in discussions with product heads across the business.
• Learn how to price, manage risk, and execute trades across asset classes.
