Job summary

Mahaska Bottling Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Route Sales Driver/Loader in Salina, Kansas. You will read build sheets, load products, and handle returns while maintaining safe, organized warehouses and routes.

Training provided; forklift experience preferred but not required. Heavily team-oriented, you will work on a schedule Mon-Thu 2:00 pm–10:30 pm and Fri until tasks completed. Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with potential for wage increases after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Read build sheets and load loads promptly.
• Handle empties and returns from drivers.
• Empty route trucks and load products.
• Keep work and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Restock and put away incoming freight.
• Read and use an iPad to ensure accurate picks.

Responsibilities

• Effectively read build sheets.
• Maintain the ability to build loads promptly.
• Responsible for handling empties and full merchandise returned by drivers.
• Empty route trucks and load products.
• Work safely, keeping the work and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Help restock and put away incoming freight.
• Effectively read and use an iPad to ensure accurate picks.

Hours

Mon-Thurs 2:00 pm -10:30pm or all tasks completed.
Fri-1:00 pm start until all tasks completed usually 10:30pm

Starting Wage

$17.50/hr. - Opportunity for a wage increase at the end of 90 days.

Requirements

Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Forklift experience is preferred, but not required. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
