Qualifications

• Journalism experience required.
• Demonstrated interest in markets and business reporting.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn new systems and software.
• Bachelor's in Journalism or related field.

Responsibilities

• Report on key financial market and economic trends and news.
• Report on big moves in important stocks.
• Write articles based on Morningstar’s research and data.
• Work closely with editors to hone craft and meet deadlines.
• Create data-driven charts and tables that tell clear stories.
• Train in using Morningstar’s extensive database of financial information.
