Job summary

Citi is seeking a Markets Data Lead to drive data governance and the delivery of strategic data solutions for regulatory remediation. You will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure data governance and running of data programs across Markets domains.

The role requires strong data analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement to meet tight deadlines and regulatory expectations within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in defining and implementing significant business transformation or data projects within global finance.
• Experience managing and executing complex data programs in trading and support environments.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products and related operations, controls, and data needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive the establishment of robust business data requirements aligned with regulatory commitments.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across Markets Business, EDO, and working groups.
• Deliver executive-level communications and progress reports to leadership.
• Oversee data governance policy implementation within Markets and cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple data initiatives including data quality, lineage, and taxonomy.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and adapt to changing priorities.
