The Associate Director, Business Systems Analysis formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within departments and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.
The Associate Director will own the following responsibilities:
Collaborate across teams to ensure requirements meet the underlying and long-term needs of the stakeholders
Constant communication and follow up from initial discovery through completion of agile features
Prioritize large volume and large bodies of work with competing timelines
Delegation of work, ensuring even-loaded capacity across associates on the team
Appropriately escalate as needed to resolve issues and support deadlines
Communicate with lower and upper-level associates (up to VP level)
Communicate and create strong partnerships with IT development team
Identify and communicate the value of the work requested and the outcomes once work is completed
Identify and implement efficiency improvement/automation opportunities
Manage data governance processes for the team and act as Chair to the organization's Data Governance Committee
Lead a team of highly specialized associates focused on data (analysis, management, governance, sharing, issue resolution)
Required Qualifications

Cross-functional Collaboration - Ability to work across business units, IT, compliance, etc.
Strategic Planning - Defining value of data initiatives and aligning them with organizational goals
Change Management - Lead through shifts in data initiatives, technology initiatives, and organizational strategies impacting the team
Communication - Ability to translate complex data topics into business language and planning, relentless follow up to ensure dependencies are being addressed and initiative timelines are being met, communicate data changes to our many data consumers as part of change management, escalate early and often to ensure timelines are being met, ability to communicate at all levels (including with senior leadership), leader level presentation skills
Team Leadership & Development - Must have at least 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports. Mentoring and coaching a data-minded team, leading them through change, and clearly aligning their work to organizational strategies.
Detail Oriented Mindset - Ability to manage and organize multiple deliverables along with maintaining standards for data integrity and governance
Prioritization - Proven ability to prioritize and organize high volume and large bodies of work to meet deadlines while delivering quality services/products
Curious - Curious mind with ability to dig into complex processes, identifying any opportunity to simplify or automate. Work and learn together creating the best solutions for the people we serve

Technical Skills
At least 2 years of experience in data management or data modeling for report development
At least 2 years of experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
At least 2 years of experience implementing and adhering to data governance policies and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Snowflake Cloud solutions/tools
Snowflake SNOWPRO certification
Bachelor's Degree related to Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Management, Finance, Economics, or related field
Additional Information
Requires some nights and weekends to support production turns or any major issues/incidents

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$129,300 - $177,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
