Job description

The Sage Group’s Client is seeking a Marketplace Enablement & Communication Strategy Manager. Our Client’s Marketplace is recognized as one of the largest B2B application stores in the world, with lifetime sales exceeding $5 billion since its inception in 2012. As a Marketplace Enablement and Communications Strategy Manager, you will collaborate closely with our Marketplace Partners and various teams within our Ecosystem, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Design. Your primary objective will be to align strategic goals across these organizations and cultivate a productive lifecycle with our Marketplace Partners. This involves bridging the gap between sales, marketing, and product teams, ensuring that everyone is synchronized and equipped with the necessary information and resources to build the right apps and drive revenue.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing enablement and communication strategies that support Marketplace partners, Sales and Internal Support teams. You will also manage content and facilitate alignment across various departments. Strong program management skills are essential, as you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth execution by addressing any gaps in enablement and communication.

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment in operational strategies and objectives.

• Lead the change management process by effectively communicating updates, driving adoption, and equipping teams to adapt seamlessly.

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, Developer Experience, and Channel teams to consolidate key updates and synthesize information for our partners.

• Enhance and streamline the partner onboarding experience to reduce obstacles and accelerate go-to-market timelines.

• Partner with marketplace leadership to define solution sales methodologies, ensuring alignment with marketplace best practices and application capabilities.

• Develop and distribute resources such as playbooks, guides, and training materials to empower teams to execute with confidence and consistency across all marketplace channels.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain and enhance a comprehensive library of resources, including reference guides, FAQs, product information, and case studies, tailored to the marketplace partner program, sales processes, and app usage.

• Track operational performance metrics and analyze data to provide actionable insights that support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Establish a robust support framework that enables teams to quickly access answers to app-related inquiries.

On the first day, we'd love you to have:

• Over 7 years of experience in enablement, digital transformation, or a related role, specializing in application or platform adoption and training.

• Proven expertise in change management and process optimization.

• Familiarity with a diverse range of enterprise applications and software solutions, including productivity tools, CRM, ERP, and project management software.

• Strong comprehension of application usage metrics, analytics tools, and user engagement strategies.

• Exceptional communication, training, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex application concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance sales and/or application-related processes.

Location: Remote in US

Duration: Until the end of the year – great chance of extension

Compensation: $36.50
