This role involves sharing the ES story globally by overseeing the sector’s marketing activities to promote products, capabilities, and successes of a global organization with over 16,000 employees and sales exceeding $6 billion. Responsibilities include managing advertising, domestic exhibitions, and developing strategic B2B and B2C marketing campaigns. You will gain in-depth knowledge of our technology, innovation, and culture to inform projects and campaigns. As a trusted advisor, you will develop strategic and integrated plans to align messages, generate leads, and maximize ROI, understanding the competitive environment and key industry challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with leadership and business development teams to craft B2B marketing strategies supporting brand and business objectives.
  2. Developing and executing B2C marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness in local communities.
  3. Ensuring adherence to corporate identity and branding standards across all marketing efforts and tradeshows.
  4. Leading the sector’s tradeshow program, coordinating with various teams.
  5. Managing agency relationships to deliver on time, within budget, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  6. Overseeing budgets for tradeshows and promotions.
  7. Supporting the creation of sales materials, advertising, and key messages.
  8. Monitoring industry trends and advising on potential issues and solutions.
  9. Collaborating with internal creative and digital teams for marketing materials.
  10. Managing, mentoring, and developing team talent.
  11. Driving collaboration within a diverse, matrixed team.
  12. Providing strategic communication counsel to senior leadership.
  13. Developing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
  14. Partnering on international campaigns and joint exhibitions.
  15. Modeling ethical behavior and aligning with the sector’s cultural principles.
  16. Ensuring policy compliance and reporting to the Director of External Communications.

This role can be performed remotely, combining independent and collaborative work.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a communications discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
  • Business acumen and experience leading large-scale campaigns.
  • Knowledge of modern communication tactics, media, and procedures.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; additional skills in digital analytics, social media, SEO, and CRM platforms are preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

Full-time salary range: $132,000 - $224,400. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and recognition programs.
