The role involves working with engineers, writers, and designers to deliver polished materials that support SEL marketing and education initiatives related to power system safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in English, technical communications, or a related area.
• Advanced proofreading, writing, grammar, and communications skills.
• Experience as a technical editor, copyeditor, or similar role that involves editing technical content.
• Ability to work under limited supervision in high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
• Ability to receive and incorporate editorial and technical feedback.
• Experience editing complex technical documentation.
• Experience with desktop publishing software.
• Experience with technical drawing software (e.g., MS Visio).
• Working knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style and the Gregg Reference Manual.
