Job summary

ACT Group in New York City is seeking a marketing–communications student for an in-office role. You will support the planning and execution of conferences, client events, and webinars from coordination to post-event follow-up, and assist with email, social media, and internal communications.

You will contribute to CRM efforts, lead tracking, and quarterly campaign reporting, while conducting market research and exploring new marketing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business or related field with expected graduation Dec 2027 – Jun 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, resourceful, willing to take on new challenges.
• Collaborative mindset and eager to learn various aspects of marketing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Interest in sustainability, energy, or international business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of conferences, client events, webinars, and other marketing activities, from initial coordination through post-event follow-up.
• Assist with email and digital marketing campaigns, helping coordinate activities, manage timelines, and track results.
• Help create, edit, and coordinate content for newsletters, social media, marketing materials, and internal communications.
• Support CRM management, lead tracking, campaign reporting, and coordination with regional sales teams.
• Conduct industry and market research, explore new marketing opportunities, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
