The Marketing Strategy organization for the Walt Disney World Resort is responsible for driving consumer demand and achieving revenue goals as well as supporting overall The Walt Disney Company initiatives. The team achieves these goals by developing business and communication strategies and partnering with cross- discipline teams to create campaigns to drive consumer behavior.
The Marketing Strategy Associate for Walt Disney World Merchandise supports executing marketing campaigns, reviewing and proofreading materials, monitoring project timelines, managing ICP tactics, maintaining budgets and assisting with after action reviews. This role provides a solid foundation for developing and refining commercial marketing proficiency, planning & promotions.
This Marketing Strategy Associate role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy.
Support the development and execution of integrated communication plans throughout the year.
Create and maintain strategic documents for internal and partner use, acting as a key integrator within the marketing team.
Assist with evaluating campaign creative ensuring it supports key elements of the strategic input
Develop After Action Review through research and analysis, including measurements, results, and actionable insights.
Provide daily assistance across multiple projects and initiatives, with the flexibility to take on new projects at various stages of planning and implementation.
Lead website updates to ensure consistency with positioning and strategic priorities.
Support partners with approval processes and serve as a subject matter expert on Disney marketing guidelines, including photo usage, terminology, and trademark rules.
Manage and track budgets to ensure optimal fund allocation and utilization.
Stay informed about the competitive landscape to help inform marketing strategy and decision-making.
2+ years of relevant work experience within Marketing.
Technical marketing skills to inspire and lead strategic input to foster creative communication planning
Experience working with multiple marketing platforms including website, social media, print, digital media, CRM, outdoor etc.
Demonstrated skills to develop strategic input, business cases and marketing communication plans
Proficient presentation development
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Experience building positive relationships to achieve results
MBA, or Master’s in Marketing , Communications, or related field
This position will be located in Celebration, FL.
This is a Full-Time position.
