Under the oversight of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. The Marketing Specialist should be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. The specialist should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help build on our strong reputation and continued growth amongst our target market, especially current members. The specialist will primarily focus on product growth and penetration goals. A secondary focus will be to help us use technology and our current systems to reach efficiencies, such as

RequirementsQualified candidates must have Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field and a minimum 3 to 5 years of marketing experience. Previous marketing experience with a Credit Union or other Financial Institution highly preferred Understanding of marketing practices (including traditional and digital marketing such as retail marketing, direct mail, email, SEM, website content management, and social media). Solid computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. Well-organized and detail oriented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be capable of meeting with management and executive level personnel to discuss and explain all Credit Union marketing objectives, products, and services. Strong analytical skills and an interest in data analysis and tracking marketing campaign success. Excellent content writing and editing skills with an attention to detail. Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills are a must.
