• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

Vode Lighting is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our team in Sonoma, California.

In this role, you will support the execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, promote our products, and engage customers and industry partners. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams, you will help bring marketing campaigns, content, events, and product launches to life.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys balancing creative projects with hands-on execution, has strong attention to detail, and can independently move projects forward while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute marketing initiatives across social media, email campaigns, events, and content marketing.
• Plan, develop, schedule, and publish engaging social media content aligned with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
• Create and update marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content.
• Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to support creative projects using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.
• Coordinate trade shows, industry events, webinars, and factory visits, including logistics, vendors, registrations, and promotional materials.
• Support new product launches through marketing campaigns, content development, and cross-functional coordination.
• Assist with website content updates and collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate and engaging digital content.
• Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, testing, and database management.
• Track marketing campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate marketing materials and deliverables.
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other teams to support marketing initiatives.
• Independently manage multiple projects, anticipate next steps, and meet established deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing social media content and marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or similar graphic design software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B marketing, lighting, architecture, design, or manufacturing.
• Experience supporting product launches and developing marketing collateral.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing analytics.
• Experience coordinating trade shows or industry events.
• Understanding of SEO, website content management, and digital marketing best practices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
