Job summary

BSE Structural Engineers in Lenexa, Kansas seeks a Marketing Specialist to drive brand visibility and client engagement across nationwide markets. You will work with the Director of Marketing to develop plans, craft communications, and maintain proposals and presentations.

The role covers social media strategy, website updates, CRM implementation, event coordination, and coordinating advertising and sponsorships while supporting the team with research, analytics, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of related experience in marketing or communications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; WordPress experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop and maintain an annual marketing plan and communications strategies.
• Coordinate and develop internal and external marketing communications.
• Collaborate with technical staff to develop and organize proposals, presentations, and award submittals.
• Develop and maintain proposal resource materials, including collateral, resumes, project profiles, photos and general company narratives.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in driving the growth of BSE Structural Engineers by developing and implementing marketing initiatives that enhance our brand visibility and client engagement.

Marketing Specialist Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop and maintain an annual marketing plan and communications strategies
• Coordinate and develop internal and external marketing communications
• Collaborate with technical staff to develop and organize proposals, presentations, and award submittals
• Develop and maintain proposal resource materials, including collateral, resumes, project profiles, photos and general company narratives.
• Develop social media strategy and craft unique digital content across social platforms
• Coordinate branded items and merchandise
• Lead website updates, redesign, and maintenance, coordinating with and managing relationships with vendors as appropriate
• Conduct research, navigating analytics, and developing marketing-related reports
• Research and implement a CRM database
• Attend and coordinate participation in professional, client, and community organizations and attend special events such as college career fairs, networking events, conferences, and more
• Assist with planning and execution of company and client events. Examples include client open house events, happy hours, holiday party, monthly employee events, golf outings, and other client events
• Spearhead annual client holiday campaign
• Coordinate and initiate local advertising, membership, and sponsorship opportunities
• Maintain office environmental branding and photo displays
• Provide other marketing and administrative support duties as required

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other related discipline
• 3+ years of related experience
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• WordPress experience highly desired
• Strong writing, editing and graphic design skills
• Familiarity with CRM database management a plus
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once efficiently
• Eager to learn and support the team
• Related architecture/real estate/construction/engineering experience a bonus
