At our Indianapolis headquarters, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to bring the Onyx+East brand to life through social media, content, design and events.

Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of Onyx+East's marketing strategy while maintaining the brand and values of Onyx+East. Fundamentally, this position involves managing social media and content creation, producing digital and print graphic design, and coordinating signage and events for the Indiana market, while providing support to other Onyx+East markets as needed. The Marketing Specialist must have strong graphic design and photography skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. In addition, they must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel to communities and events as needed. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized and detail oriented, with the initiative to work independently and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Requirements

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content

• Manage day-to-day social media execution and maintain the content calendar.
• Create photography, video, reels, graphics, stories and written copy.
• Schedule and publish content across appropriate platforms.
• Monitor trends, engagement and performance to help improve content.
• Organize and maintain photo and video assets.

Graphic Design & Brand Support

• Design digital and print materials including flyers, signage, social graphics, event materials, presentations and sales collateral.
• Update marketing templates and adapt creative for different channels.
• Ensure materials follow Onyx+East brand standards.
• Prepare production-ready files and review proofs for accuracy.

Indiana Signage & Events

• Coordinate community, model home, directional, promotional and event signage in Indiana.
• Manage signage projects from design and proofing through production and installation.
• Assist with planning and execution of community openings, Realtor events, homeowner events and other marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate event planning, materials, vendors and day-of needs as assigned.

Team & Cross-Market Support

• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Construction and Development teams on marketing needs.
• Assist with new community launches, photography and other creative projects.
• Provide graphic design, social media and general marketing support to other markets as needed.

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant marketing, social media, content creation or graphic design experience preferred.
• Strong graphic design skills required.
• Strong photography skills required, with experience capturing and editing high-quality photo and video content.
• Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, project management and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Reliable transportation to travel to communities and events in project markets.
• Real estate or homebuilding experience is a plus.
