Job summary

Acme Tools is seeking a Marketing Specialist (Graphic Design) to join our Grand Forks team. You will support catalogs, ads, signage and digital campaigns, while coordinating media purchases for multiple channels.

Requirements include 1+ years in graphic design or marketing, strong communication, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. Occasional travel to nearby store locations is expected; a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of graphic design, advertising, or marketing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships.
• Eye for detail with ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Apps: InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Excel; Mac OS.
• Valid driver’s license with occasional travel to ND/MN/IA locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with graphic design of catalogs, magazine ads, in-store signage and digital ads.
• Media buying and coordination across print, radio, billboards, TV, and more.
• Collaborate with brand vendors on co-op claims and balance tracking.
• Assist in sign shop to produce store signage and trade show materials.
• Contribute to social media marketing for local store pages.
• Adapt to other challenges as needed and learn in a collaborative team.

What You’ll Take Ownership Of:

• Assisting with graphic design of catalogs, magazine ads, in-store signage/marketing, promotional flyers and digital display ads
• Media buying and coordination of multiple types of advertising such as print, radio, billboards, TV and more
• Working with brand vendors on marketing co-op money claims, including claim submissions, claim follow-up, and co-op balance tracking
• Working within our sign shop to produce store signage, decals, trade show marketing pieces, and other signage
• May assist with designing and implementing social media marketing for local store pages
• Rolling with the punches when it comes to taking on other challenges as needed.
• Overall, working and learning with a great group of people who enjoy working together

Need-To-Haves:

• 1+ years of graphic design, advertising, or marketing concepts experience
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build relationships throughout the company
• An eye for detail with the ability to manage multiples projects and campaigns at one time
• Excellent technology skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Applications: InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel; Mac OS.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to occasionally travel to various store locations in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa to implement tangible marketing projects

Love-To-Haves:

• Bachelor or Associates Degree/Certificate in graphic arts, design, communications or related field

Physical Requirement:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. periodically, bend, squat, and climb and descend ladders safely
