Global Impact is seeking a Marketing and Research Intern to join the Marcomm team in Washington, DC. The role focuses on workplace donors and leaders, with hands-on experience in digital research, content drafting/editing, data management, and supporting philanthropic processes.
Responsibilities include supporting fundraising efforts, drafting external communications, and publishing materials for workplace giving programs.
As a Marketing and Research Intern, you’re a key member of the Marcomm team, with a focus on workplace donors and leaders . This role provides hands-on experience in digital research, drafting and editing content , data management , and a wider view of supporting the process of philanthropic giving.
Qualifying for this role means that you are currently a degree-seeking student pursuing a relevant degree: marketing and communications, journalism, international development, nonprofit management, etc. You’re comfortable conduct ing research and manag ing projects independently , with the ability to adapt to changing needs , and you’re an analytical thinker. You’re proficient with the full Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or video editing software is a plus.Excellent creative writing and grammar skills are a plus.
This is an 8-week (or longer) 10-15 hour/weekhybridor remote position that pays $18.40 hourly. We welcome the intern to join our local team members that gather1-2 daysper weekin theWashington, D.C.,office headquarters, if desired.Visa sponsorship is not available.
