Job summary

Garney Construction seeks a Marketing Specialist to support the Profit Centers in value-based, collaborative delivery work and assist Garney's Marketing and Business Development teams with administrative tasks.

The role requires leading development of qualifications and proposals, capture planning support, and distribution of marketing materials to potential clients, while helping the national marketing team and regional leadership meet deadlines with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or a similar degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

A Marketing Specialist is available at Garney. The Marketing Specialist will support the Profit Centers in obtaining value based and collaborative delivery work—overall supporting Garney in work acquisition efforts. This will include supporting the Marketing and Business Development teams and performing administrative tasks as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead development of qualifications and proposals
• Support the development of capture planning, presentations, or client debriefings
• Prepare and distribute marketing materials for potential clients
• Support the Marketing Team with administrative duties
• Support Operations and Business Development with national trade organization events, initiatives, and administrative duties

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or a similar degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in marketing professional services in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines. The selected candidate will work closely with the regional leadership group, in addition to supporting our national Marketing Team.
