Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Las Vegas is seeking a proposal lead to coordinate and write water/wastewater proposals and thought leadership. This in-office role focuses on advancing client strategies and marketing content across the Southwest region.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in consulting services related to water/wastewater or A/E/C, strong technical writing, and proficiency with Word and InDesign. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional consulting service experience focused on water/wastewater and/or general A/E/C industry is desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Education, or other relevant major.
• Strong technical writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Adobe InDesign.
• Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/write proposals, qualifications, letters, reports, presentations, brochures, award submittals, and other communications
• Facilitate, coordinate, and participate in kick-off meetings and proposal production activities
• Coordinate with consultant firms for teaming and gathering marketing materials
• Communicate and interact with professionals, project managers, and technical staff
• Conduct marketing database queries as well as input data and maintain accuracy of data on an ongoing basis
• Coordinate other special projects such as conferences, open houses, and client events
• Interview subject matter experts and write/edit technical content for target audiences

Join Kimley-Horn’s growing marketing team as proposal lead and help influence water/wastewater-sector client and project strategy; coordinate, write, and collaborate on water/wastewater proposals and thought leadership; and promote the firm in the water/wastewater markets across the region. This is an office-based role in one of our Nevada locations.

This is an in-office role.
