Our oil company is a leading provider of energy solutions committed to delivering quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Promotions Compliance Specialist to join our Creative Services team and help drive customer engagement and loyalty through compliant promotional campaigns.

Position Summary: The Marketing Promotions Compliance Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing promotional campaigns, sweepstakes, and loyalty programs while ensuring full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Working within the Creative Services business unit, this role requires a blend of promotional campaign management experience, project management skills, regulatory compliance knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project manage the end-to-end execution of promotional campaigns, from implementation through evaluation.
  2. Design and implement measurement frameworks to track and evaluate promotional campaign effectiveness.
  3. Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management.
  4. Implement loyalty programs that drive customer retention and increase market share.
  5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, and operations to ensure successful execution of promotional initiatives.
  6. Support the Creative Services business unit with compliant marketing creative development.
  7. Manage promotional budgets and ensure cost-effective implementation of marketing.
  8. Draft, review, and finalize terms and conditions for all marketing promotions, sweepstakes, contests, and loyalty programs.
  9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive terms and conditions content library for easy reference and consistent implementation.
  10. Create and update a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for terms and conditions development and implementation.
  11. Build standardized templates for sweepstakes rules, promotional terms, and other compliance documents.
  12. Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all promotional materials and campaigns comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in promotional marketing, compliance, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations related to promotions, sweepstakes, and loyalty programs.
  • Experience developing and maintaining content libraries and documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of measurement and analytics tools for tracking promotional effectiveness.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation platforms.
  • The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38 to $43 an hour, based on education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
