Marketing Project Specialist - US

Job titleMarketing Project Specialist

Department Marketing

Responsible toHead of Marketing, NA

Salary Range $67,500 - $75,000 per annum

About the Company

Our purpose is to change the way people live in cities. By providing the means to commute or explore with a bike that you can take anywhere and store anywhere, we can make cities happier places to live. We want to increase people's freedom, improve their health and reduce society's impact on the environment. We make more than just a bicycle, and we are more than just a bicycle company.

We continue to make the Brompton in West London, where we started in 1975, but our product has travelled far - we now export 80% of our bicycles to 47 countries. In the past 3 years we have invested in a new purpose-built production facility, transformed our digital architecture, opened new flagship stores and had our biggest product launch in company history and we're not stopping there.

To truly deliver on our purpose, we need passionate, innovative and talented people that want to challenge the status quo and make an impact. We can offer you a job you won't find anywhere else.

The Role

We're seeking a Marketing Project Specialist to join our dynamic North American team based in New York City. This role sits at the intersection of campaign execution, project management, and cross-channel coordination. You'll be the organizational backbone for our marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery of campaigns, events, and programs while managing our affiliates program.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects across all our sales channels; direct to consumer, owned retail, independent bike shops, and national retail partners. While supporting our network of retailers will be a significant component of your responsibilities, you'll be instrumental in executing marketing initiatives across all channels to drive brand growth in the North American market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Implementation

    • Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns from planning through execution and evaluation across all channels

    • Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for multiple concurrent marketing initiatives

    • Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure on-time delivery

    • Maintain detailed campaign documentation and post-campaign analysis, and provide monthly / quarterly reports on overall marketing metrics

  • Multi-Channel Marketing Support

    • Execute marketing strategies across direct-to-consumer ecommerce, Brompton Junction stores, independent bike shops, and national retail partners

    • Create and coordinate distribution of marketing assets tailored to each channel's specific needs

    • Support our retail network with point-of-sale materials, merchandising guidelines, and campaign toolkits

    • Implement cross-channel marketing activations that drive traffic and increase sales across all platforms

  • Affiliates Program Management

    • Own and develop our affiliates marketing channel, including recruitment, onboarding, and relationship management

    • Track performance metrics and optimize the program to maximize ROI

    • Create compelling briefs and assets for affiliate partners

    • Regular reporting on program performance and growth opportunities

  • Event & Program Coordination

    • Support planning and execution of both in-person and virtual brand events, including cycling community activations

    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event delivery

    • Assist with trade shows, demo days, product launches, and community rides

    • Help manage presence at industry events and cycling and related industry expos

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, operations, and global partners

    • Effectively communicate campaign details, timelines, and needs to relevant stakeholders

    • Coordinate with Global Marketing Team on international campaign implementation for North American market

    • Support North American retail and ecommerce teams with marketing materials and promotional assets

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or events management

  • Experience in the bicycle industry, outdoor recreation sector, or specialty retail strongly preferred

  • Understanding of multiple sales channels including e-commerce, owned retail, and dealer networks

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency with project management tools and marketing platforms

  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Passion for cycling, the outdoors, sustainability, and urban mobility

You're a highly organized marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You have a talent for coordinating complex projects and keeping multiple initiatives on track simultaneously. Your communication skills allow you to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships across teams and with partners.

Your background in the bicycle industry, outdoor recreation, or specialty retail gives you valuable insight into the needs of various sales channels. You understand the unique dynamics of both direct to consumer and wholesale environments and can translate brand strategies into successful executions across all platforms. You're passionate about cycling culture and understand how to connect with cycling enthusiasts through authentic marketing activations.
