Job description

Marketing Project Manager (Remote in USA)

Inviso is seeking experienced Marketing Project Managers to join our team and work directly with our stakeholders at Microsoft. These embedded PMs will serve as trusted partners, managing both client relationships and the execution of creative and technical marketing services within our agency. This is a dynamic, client-facing role that requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a passion for delivering high-impact marketing programs.

Excellent communication skills are required to manage clients, motivate, and collaborate with the design team and ultimately maximize production. B2B marketing experience in a technical field such as cloud computing, engineering or IT services is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic liaison between Microsoft stakeholders and internal creative/technical teams.
  • Own end-to-end project delivery—from scoping and planning to execution and reporting.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, support with budgets and Statements of work (SoWs)
  • Manage the production of marketing assets including emails, infographics, PowerPoint decks, video assets, and more.
  • Write clear and actionable creative briefs and meeting recaps.
  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Provide insights for continuous improvement and proactive approach to leveraging all marketing materials and investments made.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing strategies.
  • Ensure all project work reflects a strong understanding of marketing principles, audience engagement, and brand storytelling—this role requires a true marketer, not just a project coordinator.

What You Bring

  • 5–7 years of project management experience in a marketing or creative services environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong background in B2B marketing, preferably in tech, cloud computing, or IT services.
  • Experience working with or within Microsoft is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for reporting and budgeting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualities

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and driving clarity.
  • Comfortable working with creative and technical teams.
  • Passionate about process improvement and operational efficiency.
