Job summary

InterVarsity Press is seeking a Marketing Project Manager (Development) to lead marketing campaigns and projects remotely in the USA. You will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery with thorough documentation.

The role requires 1-2 years of project management or marketing experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and marketing tools is expected; ability to travel periodically to InterVarsity meetings as needed.

  • Coordinate and monitor campaigns and projects to support department goals.
  • Delegate tasks and manage project production.
  • Set agendas for project meetings and ensure next steps are tracked.
  • Ensure on-time, on-scope, on-budget project delivery with documentation.
  • Act as traffic controller for marketing processes and cross-department coordination.
  • Track campaign metrics and provide requested reports.
  • Support vendor contracts and payments.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other departments.

Marketing Project Manager (Development)

Work Location: Remote - USA
Schedule: Full time

Major Responsibilities
  • Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture, and God's purposes in the world
  • Model biblical discipleship through all of life
  • Provide project management and leadership for marketing projects: Coordinate and monitor campaigns and projects to support the department’s goals, objectives, and mission
  • Delegate appropriate tasks and manage project production accordingly
  • Set agendas for project meetings, ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively, and that next steps and tasks are managed and monitored
  • Ensure successful completion and excellent project delivery that is on-time, on-scope, on-budget, and with complete documentation
  • Act as “air traffic control” for Marketing business processes to ensure cross-departmental coordination, appropriate change management, and process improvement both within department and in collaboration with other departments and vendors
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of InterVarsity’s marketing program: Track marketing campaign metrics and gather critical analytics to prepare and provide reports as requested
  • Contribute to relationship maintenance of key stakeholders
  • Oversee meeting coordination and scheduling as necessary
  • Manage miscellaneous functions of the Marketing team as necessary including but not limited to:
  • Organizing campaign and vendor files
  • Researching and gathering necessary resources for marketing projects
  • Processing vendor contracts and payments as directed
  • Collaborate successfully within the Marketing Team and with other departments
  • Stay current with software InterVarsity uses to support the above functions
  • Attend various conferences and other events/projects as assigned
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends
  • Develop and maintain a funding base: Raise an agreed upon amount of personal financial support
  • Develop and maintain a personal support team for prayer and financial support through visits, phone calls, and regular prayer letters
Qualifications
  • Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Management preferred
  • 1-2 years of professional project management or marketing experience required; three or more years strongly desired
  • Demonstrated commitment to dependability and able to travel periodically to InterVarsity meetings as well as InterVarsity’s National Service Center (Madison, WI) if working remotely
  • Prior experience with InterVarsity or other campus ministry is highly desirable
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Preferred working knowledge: Email Marketing Automation systems (Mailchimp, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Wrike or similar project management software
  • Social media platforms
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • Ability to take charge of tasks and work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to develop procedures for doing work
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environment

Pay Range: $50,772.00 - $67,680.00 per year
