Job summary

AGCO in Duluth, GA is seeking a Marketing Product Specialist to support profitable growth of the Application business in North America. The role centers on leading corporate training, communicating product information and sales processes to field sales and dealer personnel, and producing online and printed training collateral.

As SME for assigned products, you will design, develop and deliver training programs, collaborate with Marketing and Field Product Specialists, create training materials,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, engineering, marketing or business.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience in sales, marketing or product development in capital goods.
• Proficiency with other MS Office apps, PDF Expert and Photoshop.
• Ability to speak to and facilitate a live audience.
• Move/Live in Jackson, Minnesota or upper Midwest, with regular travel to Jackson, MN.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate training and communicate product information and sales processes to field sales and dealer personnel.
• Produce training collateral (online and printed), including PIGs, Bulletins, comparisons and price pages.
• Design, develop and deliver training programs in collaboration with Marketing and Field Product Specialists.
• Create and maintain training materials and become SME for assigned products.
• Assist with product benchmarking and support events, launches and field activities.

The Marketing Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the Application business in North America. Their primary focus is to lead corporate training, communicate product information and sales processes directly to field sales and to dealer personnel. The Marketing Product Specialist is responsible for producing product training collateral – both on-line and published documents (hard copy). This includes, but is not limited to, Videos, Photos, Product Information Guides (PIGs), Product Marketing Bulletins, Competitive Comparisons, and Price Pages. They will also have the opportunity to assist in other areas including, but not limited to, supporting corporate events, dealer events, product launches, shows and field events.

Your Impact

Support the Marketing Team goals through training, VIP events, New Product Introductions and field activities.

Collaborate with Marketing and Field Product Specialists to design, develop and deliver training programs.

Create and maintain training materials.

Become a Subject Matter Expert for assigned products by demonstrating a high level of agronomic, economic, and product knowledge.

Assist with product benchmarking and assist with projects to develop new and innovative training aides that drive results.

Your Experience and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Engineering, Marketing, or Business

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.

A high level of mechanical proficiency and e xperience in sales, marketing, or product development functions within the capital goods industry

Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, PDF Expert, and Photo Shop. (Intermediate) and proficiency and comfort speaking to and facilitating to a live audience.

Move/Live in Jackson, Minnesota or live in the upper Midwest and willing to drive to Jackson, MN on a regular cadence.
