Job description

Job Title: Marketing Principal - Customer Experience Technology

Under minimal supervision, leads, develops, and executes strategies for one or more marketing initiatives. We are building something new and bold. As our Marketing Principal - Customer Experience Technology, you will play a pivotal role in establishing modern, scalable Customer Experience Tools to transform and build the foundation for FedEx Freight.

Essential Functions
  1. Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to highly complex and interrelated matters and projects.
  2. Provides expert-level analysis in several marketing disciplines, including computer-generated modeling.
  3. Recommends project budgets and forecasts anticipated spending.
  4. Leads project activities and consults across multiple project teams, including identifying business requirements for impacted systems.
  5. Coaches less senior team members.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education

Master's Degree or equivalent in marketing, finance, computer science, or related business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years' experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline. Experience leading complex initiatives in a corporate environment. Related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements; related experience may offset degree requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in marketing, project management, information analysis, and computer-generated modeling. Excellent human relations and communication skills. Strong organizational, quantitative, and analytical skills, including experience in database marketing and modeling. Customer-focused orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with customer service telephony, call routing, personalized self-service tools, leading tech projects, platform evaluations, and integrations. Experience creating differentiation through digital platforms to enhance growth and customer experience across shipment journeys. Understanding of LTL customer needs. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $7,094.23 to $12,533.14 per month. This range is an estimate and actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Work Location

Remote, excluding AK, HI, and US territories. Preferred locations: Memphis, TN, or Harrison, AR. May require occasional work at FedEx campuses.
