This strategy will unlock the growth potential of the combined systems-based solutions in the North American portfolio, while simultaneously driving the product growth goals.

This is a highly collaborative role, one in which success is defined by finding synergistic value across the business, and working with influence to create win-win-win strategy and planning that drives increased growth via market share and margin optimization, and achieve business goals in a complex and competitive environment.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in strategic planning, with strength in the below noted areas and demonstrated success deploying these skills to impact business growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the annual marketing planning process, which is approximately 50% focused on driving brand strength (awareness, preference, salience) and adoption of SGNA’s systems and solutions; and 50% focused on achieving product marketing growth goals. This individual will lead the annual process, developing the strategic marketing plan, including brand growth strategy, target markets, solution positioning, and marketing channel strategy.
  • Marketing Plan Creation & Oversight: Lead the creation of the marketing plan that supports the strategy, including alignment to MWBs and resources, project planning and estimation, resourcing plan, budget, and backlog creation. This individual will lead planning in collaboration with our business units and corporate marketing team, ensuring cross-functional alignment on goals, shared prioritization of high impact activities, and aligned resources to deliver. This individual will align with marketing and business leaders to ensure alignment on accountabilities for execution.
  • Budget Management: This role will have budget oversight for the marketing strategy, allocating resources for maximum short- and long-term growth, and driving the investment model to achieve ROI+ growth. They will work collaboratively with department owners and business units to create shared investment plans, driving synergies in how we invest and measuring success of marketing across our business in terms of business results.
