PURPOSE:
Marketing Data Analyst will lead the ongoing performance measurement of marketing communication channels across acquisition and engagement, helping us optimize email, direct mail, landing pages, advertising, push notifications, in-app communications and SMS to help grow our impact with participants. Through careful tracking, analysis and reporting, this role will help us reach millions of people across the country and engage diverse audiences. They will support our test-and-learn approach to continually improve our efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Measure performance of marketing campaigns/journeys, monitoring impact against KPIs and report progress to leadership.
- Guide Marketing strategy, leveraging data and experience to help build sustainable and scalable reporting
- Guide Marketing tactics, using data from current and past performance to steer decisions for Adoption of new users and Engagement of current users
- Collaborate across Product, Marketing, Data, Engineering, and Account Management to effectively manage short-, medium-, and long-term solutions to Marketing challenges
- Lead A/B testing execution and measurement, while supporting and informing our B2C Marketing A/B testing strategy and ideation.
- Analyze marketing data by manual and automated means
- Maintain marketing forecast model and tracking against actuals.
- Provide funnel performance insights that inform our marketing strategies through the lens of consumer behaviors and their omni-channel journeys to improve digital experiences.
- Lead ongoing tracking and performance analysis of email, direct mail, advertising, landing pages, push notifications, in-app notifications and SMS channels that target millions of eligible and engaged participants, with a focus on measurable growth.
- Proactively identify opportunities for greater impact using data to make recommendations for optimizations that improve our overall adoption and engagement marketing strategies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Expertise in consumer marketing strategy that leverages multiple channels
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong understanding of digital marketing channels and analytics platforms.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
- Experience providing marketing analytics and data to track, optimize performance, guide strategy, justify investments and make decisions
- Experience with Data visualization tools (PowerBI preferred)
- Experience with CRM data and objects (SalesForce preferred)
- Experience with Marketing Automation (i.e. Eloqua, SFMC, etc.)
- Experience with web-tracking Analytics (GA4, Snowplow, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Experience leveraging above data sources to Forecast and maintain Forecast for budgeting
- Strong ability to convey concepts creatively, logically, and concisely
- Strong business acumen to see the big picture
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BA/BS required. Degree in preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Analytics. 3+ years of experience specifically in Marketing Data Analytics.
GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
General office working conditions can be remote work from home or in the office. Each department head determines if position is work from home or hybrid meaning works from home and in the office as needed. Work schedules vary. When working in the office pod workstation area has little or no privacy. Involves extended periods of sitting at a workstation performing computer duties. Constant flow of interruptions by personnel, visitors to the area and telephone calls. Private workstations are available as needed. Certain positions are assigned to an office.
