Qualifications

  • Experience tracking campaign performance metrics and using data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

The Marketing Operations Manager is a dynamic team player responsible for translating the strategic vision of Creative Discovery Museum’s Marketing and Communications Department into detailed, actionable marketing plans. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, and in close collaboration with the Creative Content Manager, the Marketing Operations Manager oversees campaign coordination, project management, channel strategy, deployment, and performance analysis, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time, through the right channels, and with measurable impact. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, adept at balancing high-level planning with hands‑on management and inter‑departmental collaboration to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Planning & Project Management:
  • In collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications, develop and maintain campaign timelines, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and competing priorities and recommend solutions.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders regarding project status, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Maintain departmental systems, workflows, and project management tools.
  • Regularly evaluate campaign effectiveness, using data insights to optimize reach and engagement as needed.
Audience & Channel Strategy
  • Analyze audience engagement metrics and performance to inform campaign planning.
  • Evaluate communication channels and recommend distribution strategies based on audience behavior, specific audience reach, and campaign objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audience reach, engagement, and conversion across multi-channel platforms.
Campaign Execution
  • Manage deployment of marketing communications across digital and traditional channels.
  • Execute campaign tactics such as email marketing, website updates, social media scheduling, advertising placements, etc.
  • Ensure content is delivered accurately, consistently, and according to established timelines.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Define KPIs for campaigns and use analytics to monitor performance across all channels, collaborating with team members to interpret data from digital platforms, surveys, and other sources for actionable insights.
  • Analyze audience engagement, channel effectiveness, and campaign outcomes.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and post-campaign recaps.
  • Share insights with the Director of Marketing and Communications, offering data-driven recommendations for improvements during campaign execution and insights into future strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field OR equivalent years of experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, with proven expertise in campaign execution and team coordination.
  • Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, including organic and paid social media, email marketing, events, and print.
  • Demonstrated experience in tracking campaign performance metrics and using data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Experience using project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation, copywriting, and brand messaging.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media scheduling platforms) and familiarity with graphic design principles.
  • Experience in nonprofit, museum, arts, education, tourism, or mission-driven environments preferred.

Pay Range

Pay Range is $20.00 - $23.00 USD/per hour. Posting will be open until October 9, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
