Job description

Early-stage data platform startup is looking for a Marketing & Operations Coordinator to join their small but mighty team. This is an incredible opportunity to be among the first 10 hires and get your foot in the door of a startup. This versatile position is perfect for someone early in their career who’s excited to grow with the company alongside a multi-time successful Founder. In this role, you’ll work directly with the CEO and other leaders, wearing multiple hats across marketing and operations. Someone who is a quick learner, incredibly organized, with a positive and upbeat personality. This is a fully remote role, preference for someone in EST/CST. 80-100K DOE + competitive benefits and flexible PTO.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO by scheduling meetings, holding him accountable for attending meetings, and executing the to-do list.
  • Lead company marketing initiatives, manage social media presence (particularly LinkedIn), and support content creation.
  • Monitor company mentions and track press coverage.
  • Design and order company swag, banners, and event signage.
  • Support client relations. Conduct client outreach and follow-ups.
  • Take part in client meetings to note key takeaways to enhance the marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate team meetings and all-hands sessions. Prepare materials for meetings by gathering information from team members and working cross-functionally.
  • Collaborate with the accounting vendor to oversee payroll processes.
  • Assist with operational paperwork, contract reviews, and documentation.
  • Plan and execute team culture and engagement events.
  • Ad hoc projects to support the CEO and team.

Qualifications:
  • Sharp, adaptable individual early in their career who’s excited to learn and grow.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter who can take projects from concept to completion.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude with a willingness to wear multiple hats.
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn AI tools like ChatGPT.
  • Experience with productivity tools including Gusto, Slack, GSuite, and Notion.
  • Technical aptitude or interest is a plus!
