Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Transactions and PE Marketing Manager to drive awareness, client engagement, and pipeline growth for our transactions advisory practice and private equity channel. Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in B2B professional services.

  • Experience with marketing channels and achieving business goals.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM, and digital tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of go-to-market campaigns in alignment with firm priorities.
  • Coordinate integrated campaigns across digital, content, events, and thought leadership channels.
  • Ensure brand alignment and asset integration across marketing functions.
  • Develop and distribute PE/transactions-focused marketing content.
  • Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to deliver POVs and assets.
  • Broaden penetration within private equity channel with other advisory teams.
  • Track campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and project timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of go-to-market campaigns aligned to priority transactions and private equity offerings, in coordination with overall firm marketing priorities
  • Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, and thought leadership channels
  • Work across interdisciplinary marketing functions to ensure brand alignment, campaign coordination, and marketing asset integration
  • Manage development and distribution of transactions and PE-focused marketing content including insights, case studies, and campaign materials
  • Coordinate with business leaders, internal subject matter experts, business and marketing teams to deliver unique POVs, campaign assets and programs that address client needs
  • Collaborate with Audit, Tax, and other advisory teams to broaden solution penetration within the private equity channel’s firms and portfolio companies,
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics such as engagement, lead generation, and pipeline contribution, using metrics to recommend alternative strategies if necessary
  • Maintain campaign calendars, coordinate project timelines, and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on schedule
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, marketing processes, and overall program efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned
Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in B2B professional services, preferably in professional services, consulting or advisory environments – experience/knowledge of private equity and transaction services a plus
  • Thorough understanding of various marketing channels and their relevance to achieving strategic business goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling content and presentations
  • Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and able to work within and through teams to achieve stated goals
  • Demonstrated ability to be a trusted business partner, consistently sought out for advice by colleagues and stakeholders
  • Innovative and creative approach to developing work products and solving complex problems
  • Commitment to actively learning and adopting best practices from across the team
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, matrixed organization with shifting priorities.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
