Marketing Manager - RECENTLY FILLED, Working from home
Job Summary

Location: Home based, with a requirement to commute to Bristol once every two months and be available in June for four days for the company's strategic get-together. The event includes a week-long gathering with colleagues from the US and Europe, and an overnight stay for the end-of-year/Christmas celebration.

Aspire Jobs is working exclusively with our client, a software company on the verge of a growth phase. Reporting to the Global Director of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will primarily work from home and will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's marketing strategy. This involves creating strategies and plans to increase awareness and engagement, with a focus on lead generation.

The company has a legacy product that is 18 years old and is launching three new products (two this year). They seek a technology-driven B2B Marketing Manager to drive sales forward. The role requires managing campaigns, producing thought leadership content, and executing effective marketing initiatives for partners and direct channels. This is an excellent opportunity to join and potentially advance to Head of Marketing within 18 months. The role includes managing outsourced partners and a Marketing Executive. A good understanding of SEO and email marketing is preferred, although SEO is currently outsourced.

The successful Marketing Manager will:

  • Have proven experience in an IT B2B international organization, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Have experience planning and delivering end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Have operational management experience, including setting objectives and reviewing performance.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, influencing and managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain strong strategic relationships.
  • Possess a strong understanding of Account-Based Marketing principles.
  • Have strong organizational skills, especially in digital projects and event management.
  • Be knowledgeable about digital marketing channels.
  • Be capable of presenting results and strategies to teams.
  • Have experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, preferably Active Campaign and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Be confident, determined, and self-motivated.
  • Be focused, resilient, and have a positive “can-do” attitude, with a willingness to make a difference.
