Job description

Marketing Manager (YC-backed LegalTech Startup)

$90,000 - $120,000 base

This role can be anywhere on the East Coast (Remote-first, travel to NY/events covered)

Full-time | LegalTech | B2B SaaS | YC-backed

We’re partnering with a fast-growing LegalTech startup that’s already 5x’d its revenue this year and on track to 8x by the end of 2025. Backed by YC and now preparing for a Series A, they’re building AI that genuinely solves a deep industry problem.

They’re now hiring their first marketing hire someone who can take ownership of marketing, bring structure, and build the foundations for growth.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be the person who makes things happen not managing teams yet, but rolling up your sleeves across everything from digital to events to content.

What you’ll do
  • Own marketing end-to-end: content, website, paid, SEO, events, and sales enablement.
  • Build brand visibility and inbound demand across the US (especially regulated industries).
  • Lead event strategy plan, organise, and run high-impact dinners, roundtables, and conferences that drive pipeline.
  • Partner with sales to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Create content and campaigns that speak directly to in-house legal, compliance, and marketing teams.
  • Manage and brief freelancers or agencies (creative, SEO, design) as needed.
  • Optimise HubSpot build automation, email flows, and better reporting.
What they’re looking for
  • 3–4 years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing (events + digital focus).
  • Comfortable working in a small startup environment where you’ll wear multiple hats.
  • Strong project ownership confident managing vendors, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Creative, analytical, and eager to learn fast.
  • Bonus: experience marketing to legal, compliance, or regulated industries.
  • Based on the East Coast (ideally near New York) or open to travel once per month/quarter.
Why this role

This is a chance to build from the ground up not just execute someone else’s playbook. You’ll be joining a company with real traction, solving a real problem, and gearing up for explosive growth.

It’s ideal for someone ambitious, curious, and ready to get stuck in. You’ll work closely with the leadership team (CEO, COO, and CCO), help shape the go-to-market motion, and set the stage for future marketing hires as the business scales.
