Job summary

Associated Students of San Jose State University seeks a Marketing Manager to lead marketing and communication strategies for the organization, supervise staff and student assistants, and collaborate with university departments.

You will manage campaigns, marketing materials, budgets, and partnerships with campus stakeholders, while ensuring timely delivery of programs and services that support student engagement.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. Business Marketing degree or related field from an accredited college/university.
• 3-5 years of related experience in marketing/communications, public relations, advertising, journalism, or a similar field
• Preferred experience developing and managing marketing strategies for a college campus community
• Experience with managing website development, print production and design
• Work with graphic designers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with the Associated Students’ mission.
• Oversee department operations, budgets, and staff.
• Coordinate campaigns, content, and promotional materials across channels.
• Lead process improvements and manage department forms/workflows.
• Build partnerships with campus stakeholders and vendors.
