About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You and The Role

Every Zipline market grows differently. Customer behavior, commercial priorities, competition, partnerships, and local opportunities vary from city to city. We're looking for a Marketing Manager to own the strategy that turns those local realities into measurable market growth. You'll own marketing strategy and performance for the Austin market, determining where marketing can have the greatest business impact and aligning the organization around those priorities. Success means driving measurable growth across awareness, customer acquisition, referrals, merchant launches, and overall market performance. You'll serve as the marketing leader for Austin, partnering closely with Commercial, Operations, Community Engagement, Communications, and the broader Marketing organization. While each team owns its area of expertise, you'll define the market strategy, set priorities, and ensure our collective efforts drive measurable business results.

What You'll Do
  • Own the marketing strategy, priorities, and performance of the Austin market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior, commercial priorities, competitive dynamics, and local opportunities to identify where marketing can have the greatest business impact.
  • Build integrated marketing plans that bring together brand, lifecycle, partnerships, community engagement, merchant launches, local activations, and other marketing capabilities around Austin's highest-priority growth opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize local growth opportunities based on expected business impact, customer needs, and commercial priorities.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Community Engagement, and Marketing to coordinate execution and ensure investments are aligned to the market's highest priorities.
  • Represent the voice of the market by bringing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and local learnings back to the broader organization.
  • Define success metrics, measure performance, and continuously refine strategy based on business results.
What You'll Bring
  • 8 years of experience in marketing, growth, brand, partnerships, product marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies that combine multiple marketing disciplines to drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to prioritize opportunities based on business impact.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining success metrics, measuring performance, and making investment recommendations based on data.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
