Job summary

Hume AI, Inc. is expanding its team with a Marketing Manager who will own how the company presents itself to AI engineers, researchers, and enterprise buyers. You’ll translate deep technical capabilities into clear, credible narratives and work directly with the CEO, as well as with research, product, and sales teams.

This builder role sets up foundations—messaging, channels, tooling, and metrics—and you’ll perform hands-on work from day one, with opportunities to grow as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in B2B marketing with significant product marketing experience at an AI, developer tools, data infrastructure, or API-first company.
• Proven ability to understand deeply technical products and explain them simply without dumbing them down; you're comfortable reading a research paper and turning it into a story
• Track record of shipping launches and content that moved pipeline, not just awareness
• Experience marketing to both technical users and enterprise buyers
• Excellent writing; you'll produce much of the content yourself
• Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, early-stage environment, and the judgment to prioritize ruthlessly
• Nice to have: experience with AI/ML platforms, evaluation or MLOps tooling, or voice/speech products; relationships in the AI research or developer community

Responsibilities

• Positioning and messaging: Own platform narrative and product messaging across the stack; translate research and product capabilities into value propositions for AI labs, developers, and enterprise buyers.
• Product launches: Plan and run launches for new products, models, benchmarks, and major features with cross-functional coordination.
• Content and thought leadership: Build a content engine with technical blog posts, research explainers, benchmark write-ups, case studies, and executive insights.
• Demand generation: Stand up programs to generate qualified pipeline for enterprise and developer motion (email, events, webinars, partner co-marketing, paid channels).
• Sales enablement: Provide pitch decks, one-pagers, competitive positioning, and proof points to shorten sales cycles.
• Developer and community presence: Collaborate with product and DevRel to raise awareness among developers.
• Measurement: Define and report metrics on pipeline, content performance, launch impact, and brand reach.
