Summerset Marine Construction has been providing a full range of lakefront services to its customers in southeastern Wisconsin since 1990. As the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin, Summerset has grown over the years along with its customers’ needs, able to provide the expertise and products necessary for the perfect waterfront solution. Servicing hundreds of clients from Madison to Milwaukee, Summerset Marine provides the highest level of expertise to design, install and support any pier and boat lift system, always on call for any service needs.

About the role

As a key member of our team, the Marketing Manager will develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote our brand, products, and services, ultimately expanding our customer base and reinforcing our position as the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and generate leads for Summerset Marine Construction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify target markets, customer segments, and competitive positioning to inform marketing efforts.
  • Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website management, content creation, email marketing, social media campaigns, and online advertising to engage with customers and drive traffic to our digital platforms.
  • Plan and execute traditional marketing initiatives, such as print advertising, direct mail campaigns, and promotional events, to reach local audiences and drive sales.
  • Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, videos, and product documentation, to showcase our products and services and support sales efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, lead conversion rates, and campaign ROI, to optimize marketing strategies and tactics for maximum impact.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in our marketing efforts.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry influencers to expand our reach and enhance our brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop sales enablement tools and resources, such as sales presentations, product guides, and competitive analysis, to support the sales process and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the marine industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and events.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages and presentations.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including website CMS, email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving, able to generate fresh ideas and drive marketing initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the marine industry, including boat lifts, piers, and waterfront solutions, is a plus.
