A polished, experienced legal‑marketing professional who thrives on both creativity and execution. You understand family‑law culture—confidential, emotional, high‑stakes—and you know how to communicate it with restraint and authority. You can run strategy and handle details. You care deeply about language, design, and how brands make people feel.
You’re the person who can take our values—excellence, warmth, courage, and discretion—and translate them into every touchpoint: awards, events, gifting, social media, and press.
Core Responsibilities
Brand & Voice
- Define and protect the Fenchel Family Law brand voice: sophisticated, grounded, and real.
- Oversee firm collateral—welcome packets, referral decks, stationery, announcement postcards.
- Manage visual consistency across platforms and vendors.
PR & Visibility
- Lead awards and directory submissions (Chambers, Best Law Firms, Super Lawyers, etc.).
- Identify and secure press, podcast, and speaking opportunities (Forbes, Law360, SF Business Times).
- Ghostwrite thought‑leadership content and newsletters that sound like the founder—smart, human, bold.
- Manage the firm and founder’s social presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook); track engagement and analytics.
Events & Community Presence
- Plan and promote firm events, fundraisers, and celebrations.
- Represent the firm at key events—capture photos, coordinate media coverage, and build relationships that matter.
- Manage sponsorships and partnerships that reflect our values and visibility goals.
Referrals & Business Development
- Build and manage Team100, our referral‑partner network.
- Track referrals in and out, analyze trends, and create appreciation campaigns.
- Publicize wins, awards, and recognitions with discretion and pride.
- Develop business‑development plans for attorneys aligned with firm growth goals.
Reporting & Execution Style
- Operate independently while staying aligned with the founder’s creative vision.
- Balance strategy and execution—you’ll write, post, plan, and measure results personally.
- Deliver quarterly summaries on brand visibility, engagement, and referral data.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years in law‑firm or professional‑services marketing; 3 + years in family law preferred.
- Proven success in press, awards, referrals, and content creation.
- Excellent writer/editor; able to mirror the founder’s tone—confident, thoughtful, and modern.
- Proficient in Canva, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, and analytics/CRM tools.
- Strong design eye and understanding of high‑end branding.
- Discretion, reliability, and impeccable attention to detail.
- Comfortable representing the firm at events and with media.
