EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: MARKETING MANAGER
CBLH Design is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our firm’s marketing and proposal efforts. We’re looking for a self-motivated, creative and detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of marketing initiatives while thriving in a collaborative, team-based environment.
At CBLH Design, marketing is more than assembling proposals. The Marketing Manager will work directly with Principals, project teams and business development to shape how we communicate our experience, expertise and culture. You’ll lead proposal efforts, help develop pursuit strategies, strengthen our brand and bring new ideas to how we position CBLH Design within our markets.
This is a full-time in-office position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development, coordination and production of RFP, RFQ and proposal responses from initial review through final submission.
- Work directly with Principals and project teams to develop pursuit strategies, messaging, differentiators and project-specific content.
- Establish proposal schedules, assignments and production requirements to maintain quality and meet submission deadlines.
- Write, edit and organize proposal content that clearly communicates CBLH Design’s experience, qualifications and approach.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and other design partners to obtain and integrate information required for proposals and presentations.
- Lead the development and coordination of interview presentations, including content, graphics and interview preparation.
- Develop and maintain project cut sheets, staff resumes, firm qualifications and other marketing collateral.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm’s website and social media content.
- Maintain consistent application of CBLH Design’s brand and graphic standards across proposals, presentations, digital platforms and other marketing materials.
- Identify and develop creative marketing initiatives that strengthen the firm’s visibility and support strategic growth.
- Attend marketing, networking and business development events, including industry events, partner-sponsored events, trade shows, career fairs and community or charitable events.
- Maintain and organize the firm’s marketing resources, photography, project information and other assets used in pursuit and marketing efforts.
- Continually evaluate and improve marketing processes, templates and resources to increase the quality, consistency and efficiency of the firm’s marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional marketing experience within the architecture, engineering or construction industry or a related professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating RFP, RFQ, proposal or other qualifications-based marketing responses.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, business or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated technical writing, grammar, editing and proofreading capabilities.
- Strong graphic design and visual communication skills with the ability to create compelling, professional marketing materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to independently identify marketing opportunities, develop recommendations and present ideas to firm leadership.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Principals, architects, designers, consultants and business development professionals.
- Experience with website content management, social media, digital marketing or professional photography coordination is preferred.
