Job description

Our pet retail client is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a direct-hire, primarily remote opportunity in Austin, TX, with a desired start date of late September, early October.

The ideal Marketing Manager will assist the Director of Marketing in creating and implementing strategic marketing strategies to drive customer satisfaction and increase revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Director of Marketing in creating strategic marketing strategies and mapping out tasks for implementation.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to track and forecast departmental budgeting and monitor adherence to campaign budgets.
Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendors and foster strong relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with writers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to create advertising content.
Manage and supervise the entire life cycle of each team member's projects, including managing content calendars and schedules.
Manage project workflows to ensure timely completion, accuracy, and desired ROI for marketing campaigns.
Maintain open communication with company leadership and departments to ensure successful project deliverables.
Monitor the creation of various marketing materials, including websites, promotional emails, print collateral, and video production.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications.
Proficiency in PC software, Microsoft Office, data collection, and reporting using MS Excel.
Experience with Klaviyo, WordPress, and Salesforce.
Experience in B2B and B2C marketing with various forms of marketing collateral.
Proven history in project management and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Self-starter with a strong customer service spirit.
Highly collaborative professional with effective communication skills.
Experience working with and enforcing brand style guides.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to organizational dynamics.
