Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies and create promotional materials to support the sales team and increase division profitability.

The role will coordinate events, design brochures, and publish results for branch and company promotions. You will supervise the Marketing Assistant, collaborates with purchasing and operations, and provides budget feedback to management.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of foodservice sales, marketing or purchasing experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe CS-4; internet and email.
• Valid Texas driver's license required for company business.
• Understanding of sales process and collaboration with sales, purchasing & operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally and follow dress code.
• Coordinate staging for food shows, SRP banquet, and branch events.
• Create brochures and advertising materials for vendor promotions.
• Publish results for branch and companywide promotions.
• Manage Marketing Assistant daily responsibilities (where applicable).
• Provide feedback to GM on budget and forecasting needs.
• Develop creative business strategies for Purchasing, Sales and Marketing.
• Model BEK culture through leadership.

The Marketing Manager will develop marketing strategies and creative promotional materials in order to assist the sales force in maximizing profitability for the division and increase the company's overall market share.

• Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and follow dress code
• Organize and coordinate all aspects for staging food shows, yearly SRP banquet, and other branch events
• Create and design brochures and advertising materials for use in vendor promotions
• Organize, advertise and publish results for all branch and companywide promotions
• Manage daily job responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant (where applicable)
• Provide feedback to GM regarding budget and forecasting needs of the Marketing Department
• Organize and implement creative business strategies for the Purchasing, Sales and Marketing Departments
• Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self-management practices in support of BEK culture

Job Qualifications:

• Two to five years of foodservice sales, marketing or purchasing experience preferred
• Knowledge of and ability to competently use MS Office, Adobe CS-4, internet and email
• Valid Texas driver's license is required for driving to perform company business
• Must have an understanding of the sales process and a collaborative relationship with sales, purchasing & operations
• Ability to correspond and communicate effectively to the sales force, vendors and customers in a written and/or verbal format
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, assignments and tasks, monitoring use of time and appropriately using equipment, facilities and materials to provide timely and quality responses
• Ability to learn and use all Ben E. Keith applications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; or related experience resulting in equivalent level of knowledge
