Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager leads marketing efforts across StrideCare’s specialty service lines, with a focus on driving growth in patient volume for all locations. This role owns StrideCare’s outside marketing agency and vendor relationships end-to-end - ensuring performance against goals and budget across paid media, SEO, website, and brand strategy - and is accountable for KPI reporting to leadership. The Marketing Manager also leads local, on-the-ground marketing and collateral efforts across clinic locations and manages a Marketing Specialist who supports execution. This is a hands-on leadership role combining vendor management, performance reporting, and people management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly manages a Marketing Specialist, assigning and reviewing local marketing, collateral, social, and content work.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day and strategic relationship with StrideCare’s outside marketing agencies and vendors (covering paid media, SEO, website development, and brand strategy) - approving deliverables, holding vendors accountable to contracted commitments and KPI targets, and leading scope or performance escalations.
- Own KPI reporting and analysis: consolidate and interpret vendor performance data (CPL, CPA, ROAS, SEO/keyword rankings, and related metrics) into leadership-ready reporting with clear recommendations.
- Manage and develop the Marketing Specialist, assigning priorities across organic social, local marketing, collateral, and reputation management, and reviewing their work product.
- Lead local/on-the-ground marketing strategy across clinic locations - events, sponsorships, community outreach, in-office collateral - directing the Specialist’s execution and stepping in hands-on as needed.
- Oversee design and collateral production (in-house or freelance), ensuring brand consistency across all internal and external materials (D2C and B2B) in partnership with agency/vendor brand guidance.
- Support the outreach/business development team with physician-facing marketing materials, presentations, and relationship-building collateral.
- Set direction for online reputation management across all locations (Google, Healthgrades, and other listing platforms).
- Own marketing budget tracking and invoice reconciliation across all marketing vendors.
- Lead local launch marketing planning for new clinic openings or acquired practices.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Proven experience managing outside agencies or vendors and holding them accountable to KPIs and contracted deliverables.
- Experience managing or mentoring a direct report, or clear readiness to do so.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable building and presenting KPI and leadership-level reporting.
- Excellent communicator across physicians, clinic staff, leadership, and external agency partners.
- Working knowledge of paid media, SEO, and social fundamentals sufficient to evaluate and direct agency output (hands-on execution not required).
- Familiarity with design/collateral production and brand standards.
- Basic understanding of, or willingness to quickly learn, healthcare marketing compliance: HIPAA, anti-kickback, and referral-based guidelines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
- 4-6 years of marketing experience, including agency/vendor management; prior people-management experience preferred.
- Healthcare, multi-location brand, or agency-oversight experience preferred.
- Experience with a CRM tool (HubSpot or similar).
