Job summary

Caroline Pistole State Farm is seeking a Director of Marketing to own the local marketing presence, lead social media strategy, create engaging content, develop community relationships, coordinate events, and drive office growth.

This role is ideal for a creative, outgoing marketer who can plan, execute, measure results, and collaborate with the agent and team to achieve ambitious community visibility. Flexible work-from-home options available.

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, social media management, content creation, communications, event planning, community outreach, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable creating social media content, including appearing in or directing photo and video content when appropriate.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate ideas and independently turn them into action.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Confident networking and developing relationships with community members and local organizations.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable measuring results and using performance data to improve marketing efforts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while independently owning the marketing function.
  • Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the office’s overall local marketing strategy and calendar.
  • Lead social media creation and management across relevant platforms, including planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing content.
  • Create engaging photo, video, written, and promotional content that reflects our brand and connects with the local community.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across digital and community channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, nonprofits, community leaders, and other potential partners.
  • Identify sponsorships, networking opportunities, community partnerships, and local initiatives that can expand brand awareness.
  • Plan, organize, promote, and execute marketing events, community events, networking opportunities, and office initiatives.
  • Represent the office professionally at community events and networking functions.
  • Develop creative campaigns and promotions that increase awareness, engagement, referrals, and opportunities for office growth.
  • Spearhead new marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Collaborate with the agent and team to ensure marketing efforts support overall office goals.
  • Monitor social media engagement, campaign performance, event results, and other key marketing metrics.
  • Evaluate marketing efforts and recommend adjustments based on performance and results.
  • Stay current on social media trends, local opportunities, and new ways to connect with our target audiences.
