Job summary

Tradition Senior Living in Houston seeks a Marketing and Leasing Director responsible for occupancy goals, budget attainment and lead generation across the Buffalo Speedway community. You will manage internal and external sales, events, and market analysis to drive occupancy and revenue.

You bring at least two years of sales experience in senior living or real estate, strong local market knowledge, and the ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• Two years of external/internal sales experience in senior living, real estate, or other person-to-person sales.
• Knowledge of local community resources, market conditions, and contacts.
• Experience with public relations/networking; ability to develop and execute 90-day marketing plans and events.
• Energetic, positive demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate others; motivate performance.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher.
• Follow and support company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sales through face-to-face presentations, telemarketing, group presentations, and professional referrals.
• Touring potential customers.
• Engage with seniors and adult children to understand needs.
• Identify client needs and provide solutions.
• Impeccable follow-up through written and verbal communication.
• Research competitive landscape and market trends.
• Direct marketing and PR initiatives to drive brand awareness and leads.
• Develop community relationships with referral groups and organizations.
• Evaluate new PR opportunities for the community.
• Assist in creating collateral and communications.
• Handle day-to-day office tasks to support Communications and PR.
• Monitor occupancy, budget and purchasing processes.
