Job summary

Milestone Financial Planning, LLC is seeking a Marketing Intern to support video creation, graphic design, social media, and digital campaigns. You will help with webinars, content development, and marketing communications in a client‑facing finance environment.

The internship offers hands‑on experience, mentorship from the Marketing team, and opportunities to build a strong portfolio across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Must have experience creating and editing video content for social platforms.
• Graphic design experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud is required; Premiere Pro preferred.
• Portfolio, reel, or samples of video and graphic design work must be submitted with the application.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Analytics; familiarity with Semrush, Google Ads, and Google Search Console is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Design graphics and other marketing materials aligned with brand standards.
• Draft, edit, proofread, and format social media posts, emails, blog content, presentations, and other marketing communications.
• Assist with webinar/event preparation including invitations and post-event follow-up.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Help with routine website content updates and track marketing analytics across channels.
• Maintain organized marketing files, calendars, and project lists with updates.

Summary

We're seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team at Milestone Financial Planning, LLC. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to support our Marketing team with video creation and editing, graphic design, social media, digital campaigns, and webinars, helping grow the firm's visibility and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Design graphics and other marketing materials that are professional, visually engaging, and aligned with the firm's brand standards.
• Assist with drafting, editing, proofreading, and formatting social media posts, emails, blog content, presentations, and other marketing communications.
• Assist with webinar and event preparation, including invitations, registration materials, presentation support, and post-event follow-up.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, audience interests, and potential opportunities for growth.
• Assist with routine website content updates and help track marketing campaign analytics across email, social media, and webinars.
• Maintain organized marketing files, content calendars, and project lists, and provide updates on assigned projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience creating and editing video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn is required.
• Demonstrated graphic design experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud is required; experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable video‑editing software is preferred.
• A portfolio, reel, or samples of video and graphic design work must be submitted with the application.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Analytics; familiarity with Semrush, Google Ads, and Google Search Console is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including a willingness to revise work based on feedback.
• Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a bachelor's degree program in marketing, communications, digital media, graphic design, finance, or a related field preferred.
