Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00-4:00 / Friday 10:00-3:00
We are seeking a motivated Professional Development Intern to join our team for a structured 12-week internship designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in a professional environment.
This program is intentionally designed as a learning and development opportunity. Throughout the 12 weeks, the intern will gain exposure to our organization, develop practical skills, work alongside experienced professionals, receive regular coaching and feedback, and complete a meaningful project that demonstrates their growth.
The ideal candidate is curious, eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and interested in building the skills and professional relationships needed to succeed in their career.
All associates at Capital City Bank, Capital City Wealth, and Capital City Home Loans have access to confidential client information and must practice discretion at all times.
During the program, you will:
Each intern will be paired with a designated mentor who will provide guidance throughout the program. Mentorship will include regular one-on-one conversations focused on professional development, career questions, workplace expectations, and navigating the intern's experience.
In addition, interns will receive:
Assignments will be selected to provide meaningful learning opportunities and will progressively increase in complexity as the intern develops proficiency.
We recognize that interns are early in their careers. We are more interested in your potential, curiosity, and willingness to learn than in extensive prior work experience.
Success in this internship is not measured solely by how much work an intern can complete. We will evaluate the experience based on learning, skill development, professional growth, quality of work, collaboration, and increasing independence.
At the conclusion of the program, the intern should leave with tangible experience, new skills, professional relationships, constructive feedback, and a clearer understanding of potential career paths.
At the end of the 12 weeks, the intern will participate in a final review with their manager and mentor. The discussion will cover accomplishments, skills developed, areas for continued growth, and potential next steps.
Where appropriate, interns may be considered for future employment opportunities; however the primary purpose of this program is to provide a meaningful, structured learning and professional development experience.
