Job summary

The Missouri State Fair is seeking four Marketing Interns for Summer 2027 (May 17 - Aug 22). The positions are part-time, temporary, non-benefited, and located in Sedalia, Missouri.

Housing may be provided on the fairgrounds, with limited meal support during the 11-day fair. Candidates should be current college students with at least a 3.0 GPA, pursuing Agriculture, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or Journalism; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support media relations activities and event planning.
• Assist with public relations efforts—eblasts and news releases.
• Manage social media accounts and monitor engagement.
• Contribute to agriculture education outreach opportunities.
• Assist with design and distribution of promotional materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
