Job summary

Ameriprise is seeking a Marketing Intern in Minneapolis to gain exposure to a broad range of marketing initiatives and contribute to consumer marketing, insights, and market segmentation projects.

You will support social media marketing, client acquisition efforts, advisor marketing programs, and marketing analytics, while applying AI productivity tools to improve efficiency.

The program encourages engagement with senior leaders and participation in volunteering days.

Qualifications

• Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.
• High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics.
• Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and their application to improve efficiency and support marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to a broad range of marketing initiatives

• Assist with marketing strategy and analytics
• Promote, strengthen, advocate for, and protect the Ameriprise brand, business interests, reputation, and local communities
• Help advisors build their practices through programs and communications that acquire, retain, and deepen client relationships
• Engage with senior leaders through the ELT Speaker Series
• Participate in the annual volunteering day
