Job summary

Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in planning and executing campaigns, writing copy for social media posts and emails, and creating content for multiple channels.

You will collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing and other staff, participate in brainstorming, and may help with after-hour events. This role offers exposure to a corporate marketing environment and project-based work.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred, but not required.
• Passion for marketing industry and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
• Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
• Assist in creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
• Assist with planning and execution of internal and external bank events.
• Measure and report results of various marketing initiatives.
